SPARE RULE

I have had a few complaints about how teams are using the spare Rule this season.

If your team only have 11 or 10 players for a game, and you are going to be using the spare rule, then the spare must be placed in position 12 or 11 & 12 on the board and on the card, and must play in those positions and spare put as the name.

The lowest scoring player/players in each roll shall roll as the spare and must be the last player/players, to roll in each roll.

It doesn't matter if you are the lowest in more than 1 roll, you will still roll again. As I said, the lowest player/players in EACH roll will roll again. You could end up playing as the spare in every roll if you are the lowest.

If the lowest player from the roll has left early and is not there to play as the spare, a ZERO will be put in for that spare.

If you have more than one/two players on the lowest score, than the captain will decide who out of the lowest scores for that roll will play as the spare.

This rule is in your rule book, so please read it and if not sure about it, then please contact me and I will explain it to you.

Jacko's Boys are now playing from The West End on a Thursday. 

From 1st September, Rumney Rugby Club, will be cash free.
